Dating in Deansgate and Spinningfields
In shortDeansgate runs through the west side of the centre, with Spinningfields' restaurants and bars just off it. It is a good choice for a smarter first date. You can start somewhere quiet and move on somewhere livelier.

The John Rylands Library
The John Rylands Library at 150 Deansgate is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Its Gothic building is a calm place to start a date, though food and drink are not allowed inside, only bottled water.
