Manchester Christmas Markets

In 2026 the markets run from 6 November to 22 December across ten city centre sites, with Albert Square and Cathedral Gardens open until 3 January 2027.

Summer

Manchester Day

Manchester Day fills the city's streets and squares with music, dance and a parade. In 2026 it was on Sunday 26 July with a Catalan theme, so look out for next year's date.

August bank holiday

Manchester Village Pride

Manchester Village Pride is a community-led celebration run by Village businesses and community members. In 2026 it ran from 28 to 31 August, with a Community Showcase on Sackville Gardens and a main stage of LGBTQ+ talent.
